Knit Wit
By Noelle Valdivia
Intro | History | Cast On | Knit | Bind Off

How to knit
There are many different types of stitches. The knit stitch is the foundation for all of them.
  1. Hold the needle that has the stitches on it in your left hand and the other needle in your right hand.

  2. Insert the point of the right needle upwards through the top loop on the left needle so that the two needles criss cross, the right one behind, to form an X shape.
  1. While in that X, pick up the strand of yarn that runs to the ball and wrap it around the right needle once, counter clockwise.

  2. Then, insert the tip of the right needle back down, through this new loop and pull the right needle up to transfer the stitch to onto the right needle.

  3. Continue to do this until all the loops are transferred from the left needle to the right needle.
