A Toast to the Holidays
By Jennifer Chan
Intro | Eggnog | Cider | Godiva | Bellini | Chill Factor

Have you noticed? People are a little bit nicer, the weather is a whole lot colder, and parking at the malls are nearly impossible. Oh yes, it’s that wonderful time of year. The holidays are here again which means giving and receiving presents, finding an explosion of poinsettias everywhere, and going to parties… perhaps the best parties all year. There’s something about this season that magnetically brings people together, even the ones you thought were lost, to catch up and share some good times.

If you’re hosting a party this month, don’t deprive your guests from holiday treats that come around only in December. Bring on the holiday cheer and serve traditional beverages that will warm the body and spirit. From mulled wine, hot cider, and of course, what is a holiday party without eggnog? From Christmas to New Year’s, I’ve listed my top favorite drinks and easy-to-make recipes that will be sure to light someone’s fire this holiday.
