Cook Once For The Whole Week
or
Brown Bag? With These Shoes?
by Victoria Herd

Brown Bag It | Supplies | Get Cooking | Old Faithfuls

So you want to brown-bag it at lunch, or you think you should, but you can't stand the thought of one more microwave frozen entree. You know you could save a lot of money, but toting that greasy brown bag to work - so not cool!

Maybe, but by bringing your lunch you could save enough $$ to buy a pair of shoes a month. Plus, having your lunch at the ready means you're free to relax or run errands during your lunch hour. Think about it, no more running out EVERY SINGLE DAY to get your lunch, no more panicky moments when the bill comes for your table, you forgot to get cash, and now you're the jerk who's cornered the waitress, trying to talk her into putting $8.79 of a $42 dollar lunch bill on your Discover Card.

Or perhaps lunch isn't the issue for you. You're one of those people who doesn't stop moving after 6pm. One of those energetic people who goes to the gym or plays in a league or volunteers for a worthy cause. Do you get home at 11pm with just enough time to brush your teeth and say your prayers before your usual measly allotment of sleep?

In other words, no time to cook?

You may be surprised. Lunches for the week are within your reach.
